Joining the mailing list of the Victorian Transport Branch is free. The Victorian Transport Branch of Engineers Australia is a state branch of the National Committee on Transport (NCTR) and is linked administratively through the Victoria Division of Engineers Australia.
The Branch organises a number of seminars and events each year to facilitate knowledge sharing and networking between members.
Some meetings are held jointly with other panels and branches of the Institution, or other related organisations such as the Insitute of Transportation Engineers Australia and New Zealand chapter (ITEANZ), and the Australian Institute of Traffic Planning and Management (AITPM).
Attendance at Branch events contributes towards your Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements, as required by Engineers Australia and other professional associations.
The events are generally free – although some (such as breakfasts or dinners) will incur a cost.
